Events in Amman, December 18 – 23

This week the festival of Sacred Music continues with a performance of Christmas carols by Jordanian musician Macadi Nahhas, and a performance by Jordanian band “Sharq”. The Amman Symphony Orchestra performs Beethoven’s Eroica with solo violinist Nabih Boulus and visiting conductor Vincent de Kort.

You have an evening of poetry at Orfali gallery on Monday, and an evening of slam poetry at Bistro on Tuesday.

The Royal Film Commission has two documentary screenings this week; the American film “Freedom Riders”, and the Palestinian film “The Invisible Policeman.”
